The Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team (IGBST) is a collaborative effort between tribes, state agencies and the federal government. The team’s goal is 25 female grizzlies fitted with GPS collars in the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem every year so the protected bear’s movements can be tracked as part of the area’s population recovery plan.
